With a rebrand in the works and no presence in the mobile space, Hastings Direct approached us to help them design and develop a companion app for their customer.
A common theme on a lot of projects like this was that the branding and campaign were still under development, and mostly under wraps from us, so our work ended up having to constantly inform and adapta to the nuggets of information releases.
A product shaped sprint by sprint
Working with a small agile team in short weekly sprints, we quickly established design and usability principles and guidelines that informed the development of the functionality that will allow Hastings to deliver crucial functionality while maintaining their friendly tone of voice.
